I know jack shit about the John Carter books. All I know is that they’re written by Edgar Rice Burroughs, the same guy who created Tarzan. From a sci-fi perspective, these novels were WAY ahead of their time.
Anyway, part of me wants to see this movie and REALLY be taken on an adventure. But the cynical part of me says this is going to suck. I hope the first part is right.
