Served Cold Challenge: Day Six

I had an excellent writing session tonight. I mean, really, really good. Started around 7 or so, and it’s about midnight right now, so that’s roughly five hours give or take a distraction or two.

I went back and rewrote just about everything I did on day four, and ended today at the end of page ten. So TEN PAGES just tonight. ten!

I knew it was going to be a good night. I could just feel it all day. I was going over things in my head on the car ride home from work, while I was at the gym, while I was eating. I was just in a “writing state of mind” all day. Thinking way ahead. Thinking back. Thinking about what was just in front of me.

I get in the zone like that sometimes. Completely absorbed with the project that I’m working on. I try to take advantage of these days as much as possible, because when I do I can end up with nights like tonight.

Ten pages! Man! That feels so good.

I’ve gotten roughly half way through act one A at this point. The sequence I’m writing next is more or less the pinch in the first half of the act. I’m looking forward to it, since it’s really one of the first times I get to flesh out the villains to the reader.

The link to tonight’s efforts is posted below.

Alright, I’m tired.

Until next time, keep writing!
