Rewrites: Served Cold

I worked on a rewrite of Served Cold over the break. It wasn’t Earth shattering. And the term “polish” is probably a better word to describe it. But I cleaned it up a lot, made some minor tweaks, and cut off another two pages, bringing the page count to 102.

The AAA Screenwriting contest is coming up, and I’d like to enter it an see how I fare. This is the other screenwriting contest that Creative Screenwriting puts on each year (along with the Screenwriting Expo Screenwriting Contest).

I’m going to spend the next few days taking a hard look at the opening sequence of Served Cold. I’d like to trim it down to five pages, and possibly add in some other elements to cross cut with the bad guys, instead of bringing them in at the beginning of act two. We’ll see how that goes.

Until next time, keep writing!
