In this video I finish up a series of posts I’ve been putting on the blog about how I go about outlining before writing a screenplay, and explain how I use “free screenwriting” to explore ideas without actually changing anything in my current screenplay or outline.
I don’t know why the first 20 seconds is all weird, but it clears up so bare with me.
And for those of you who don’t like outlining at all, The Coen Brother’s don’t do any outlining when they write, and they seem to do just fine. Remember, outlining isn’t an “answer,” it’s just a method, or a theory, that some people might find helpful.
Until next time, keep writing!
