Cyberspace Open – Winter 2011: Under Five Pages

Just got it down to five pages.

I’ve tinkered with the opening a bit and think I’ve settled on how it’s going unfold.

The dialog is still a bit stiff, and the subtext of the scene isn’t hitting the way I want it to. I think this is the area most people are going to run into trouble, so I’m sure I’m not the only one struggling with this aspect of the prompt.

But I’m done writing for now. I need to take a break and watch some Netflix. I might tinker a little bit more later this evening.

I’ll probably do three writing sessions tomorrow. One in the morning. One in the afternoon. And a final round of polish at night before I submit it.

I’ll post up my entry after submission time expires on Monday morning.
